  1. Yes the media is biased. When you look at different news outlets, you can clearly see the biases. When you look at TV shows, you can see biases as well. News outlets like msnbc and Fox News both contain biases. Rarely will you see Fox News promoting a democratic candidate. It is not necessarily a bad thing that opinions can be expressed through these outlets, but the problem can lie in not getting the whole story. There are also biases in public opinion polls. The questions can be shaped to only portray a certain opinion.

    1. I agree that there is a bias in the media (Fox News being more conservative and MSNBC being more liberal) but I think that the biases outweigh each other to create a balanced media. There is not one media source that has no bias, but there are so many media outlets. With all of the different media outlets, there is the opportunity for all sides of an argument to be presented and opposing views to be taken into consideration to where the viewer can form their own opinions on an issue.

    2. I believe that some media is biased and some is not. I think local stations are less likely to be biased, while larger ones are more likely to be biased. Certain shows that focus on one party's views (such as Bill O'Reilly) are certainly likely to be biased. This might not be a bad thing, if a person watches shows from both sides and takes both into consideration when determining his/her own views. I think that online media is more biased than anything else since anyone can put anything they believe online.

    3. I agree with Mallory that some news sources are biased and some aren’t. I think humans in general are always biased, you stand on one side of the issue. I think that a lot of news sources are biased but they have people on their show or they have articles written from both sides. Shows like the Kelly file usually have two people, one on each side of the debate. Even though Megan Kelly has a biased opinion she has people from both sides come on her show.

  2. I agree that the media is biased but as everyone else has said it's both, obviously there's factual media that just states truth but there's also plenty of biased newspapers, websites, and TV channels, but as Taylor stated, humans in general are always biased, especially when talking about politics.
