Ch 18 - Income

What is 'income distribution'? What is 'income inequality'?
Is either a problem that the federal government should be involved with?

  1. Income distribution is the smoothness or equality with which income is dealt out among members of a society. Income inequality refers to the extent to which income is distributed in an uneven manner among a population. Yes, the federal government should be involved in a slight regulation of income inequality. There should not be this large of a gap between the rich and the poor.

  2. Income distribution is the funds that are received throughout an area and income inequality is the unequal amounts of funds that are received by individuals in said region. I don't think that the government should be involved in said affairs because some individuals work harder and more prestigious jobs than others equaling in a larger pay.
