  1. The 6th Amendment includes the right to counsel. This comes from the supreme court case of Gideon v. Wainwright (pretend that is underlined or italicized). I agree with the Supreme Court decision that states are required to proved lawyers to those who are accused of crimes because that follows the 14th amendment equal protection clause and it gives those who do not have sufficient funds to be protected against alleged charges in a more secure way.

    1. I also agree with the requirements stated in the 6th amendment. Right to counsel is a very important right to have, especially because not everyone has the money to be able to hire a lawyer. I think that if right to counsel was not a right stated in the constitution, people would take advantage of others and frame them for crimes, knowing that they could not afford a lawyer to defend themselves.

    2. I do not agree with the requirements in the 6th amendment. I think that if you get yourself in trouble enough where you have to go to court you should have to be able to support yourself since you got there. They should not have to provide a lawyer for you because you can't afford it. If you can not afford it, do not get yourself in a situation where you need one.
