  1. The ruling of Roe v Wade was that the due process law of the 14th amendment gave women the right to privacy when it came to abortions. This means that women are allowed to have abortions up till their third trimester, regarding to the fact that the longer the pregnancy continues, the larger chance of "possibility of life" with the fetus and also in regards to the woman's health. I disagree with this ruling because I think that as soon as conception has taken place, then life has been created (aka a baby). The due process law is supposed to protect life, liberty, and property. So how can it be used to justify the taking of a life by an innocent infant?

    1. I agree with this ruling because the government can't understand the conditions, some women are conceived from rape or are too young to care for their child and live in poverty and I think it would almost be unjust to allow a child to grow up in some of these conditions. Issac argues that due process law protects life, liberty, and property but if it's not provided in a household then it's not fair to the infant.

  2. The ruling in Griswold vs Connecticut was that the US Constitution grants the people a “right to privacy.” The case ruled that a Connecticut law banning any medicine, medical instrument or procedure from preventing conception was unconstitutional because it violated the right to “marital privacy.” I agree with this ruling because I believe childbirth should be the decision of the parents and not the state. If a couple does not have the economic means to support a child, or simply they do not yet want a child, they should be able to take measures to prevent conception.
