  1. I do not think voting and registration should be done online. In today's day and age, hackers are very powerful and smart. With groups like Anonymous, it is possible for votes to be tampered with if they are online. The way that voting registration and voting is now is completely accessible, voters just have to go and do it. Even with absentee ballots you don't have to leave the comfort of your own home. There is no need to open the door to tampering for online hackers.

    1. I agree with Allie's statement that voting should not be done online, but I disagree and say that registering to vote should be available to do online. With registering there is not a chance of a hacking group ruining an election but only a chance for identity theft, which is already a big problem today in America. I believe that being able to register online will raise voter turnout and have more people come out to vote because they are able to easily access the registration form, unlike now and how people might not know where to go and what to do to register to vote.

    1. I agree that casting a vote shouldn't be done online because hackers could find ways to tamper the voting process and results. However, I think that registration for voting should be able to be done online because it would most likely raise the number of voters. One of the biggest reasons that people don't vote is they think the registration process is too difficult, if you could register online people would have easy access to a registration form and be able to easily send it online instead of having to mail a paper form. I think that American citizens would appreciate and like the idea of online registration.

    2. I agree with Danielle and I think that registering to vote should be able to be done online but I do not think that casting a vote should be done online. I think that if people were able to register to vote online, more people would register because they would be able to do it quickly and easily from their own home. In today's technological age, registering to vote online would be appealing to many people, including young people who vote the least often. I think that casting a vote should not be done online because there could be numerous problems that could occur. A mistake could be made while voting that can not be fixed or the system could be overwhelmed with voters and not be able to operate properly. I think that if people were able to register online then they would be more likely to go out and cast their vote later.

    4. I agree with Danielle and Allison in the fact that voting registration should be done online. I think the reason that a lot of people don’t vote is because the registration process can come off confusing in hard. If it was as simple as going online and signing up to vote, I believe that a lot more people would do it. I don’t think you should be able to cast your vote online because there would be no way to monitor that and make sure that people are being honest.
