Ch 3 - Constitutionally Denied Powers

What are the powers denied to the national government? Should any of those powers be given to the national government? Why?

  1. The national government may not impose export taxes among the states, nor may they use money from the Treasury without the approval of an appropriations bill, nor may they change state's boundaries. I do not believe that any of these powers should be given to the national government, as they would disrupt the balance of federalism that our nation was created on.
