I believe right to work laws (RTW) should be implemented widespread. It is a constitutional right to work. Employees should not be forced to associate with a union just so they can receive income. Furthermore, these employees have to pay extra taxes as a member of the union. After research has been conducted, researchers have found that states with RTW laws employ a larger percentage of people looking for work. Lowering unemployment, lowering taxes for workers, and making employment opportunities more openly available, I think RTW laws will continue to be on the rise in the United States. I agree with Blake. Sometimes there are negative stigmas that go along with union membership. There are benefits, but they should be optional. No one should be forced to join an organization that they do not want to just to find a job.
I agree with Blake because optional membership would be the best interest for workers in case of a strike and being associated with that group could potentially have people who were free from participating in said strike be fired from their jobs.

DeleteI disagree with Blake. I think Union memberships are the way to go. Unions protect workers and give benefits to those in contracts with unions.
