  1. I believe the current presidential primary system is effective because by giving all states a primary it allows all states to have a proper vote and say in the presidential election.

    1. I partly agree with the presidential primary system being effective, one reason that I think that it isn't completely effective is because while everyone can go to a primary in a state, not everyone does. This leaves the people who go to the primaries to leave a vote towards a candidate that misrepresents most of the state that the primary is in.

    2. I see your point but its on the voter to vote in the primary. If they choose to not vote then they are choosing to not voice they their opinion on candidates. Therefore those who really care and want their candidate to win will find the time to go and vote in the primary. Those who do not vote cannot complain about being 'misrepresented' if they themselves did not participate in the primary.

  2. Primaries can be effective for candidates trying to figure out where their strongest and weakest geographical areas are to project the outcome of the campaign in order to make new strategies in their campaign in order to win the election.

  3. I do not believe that the current system of primaries is effective because many states have them on different days and can take an extreme amount of time to determine the outcome of the official primary, a set day for a popular vote all over the country is my way of fixing this problem because if it is all over the country then no one has the excuse of missing voting day.
